Read Palestine Event

Please join Camas Books & Infoshop for #ReadPalestine, a free and open to the public event at Camas from 6:30pm-8:00pm on December 5. We are hosting this event as part of Read Palestine Week, and the November 29 International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

Publishers for Palestine, a global solidarity collective of publishers and others in publishing industries, is urging people around the world to read fiction and poetry by Palestinian and Palestinian diaspora authors, and nonfiction about Palestinian history, politics, arts, culture, food, and life, as well as books about organizing, resistance, and solidarity for a free Palestine. Camas is inviting attendees at our December 5 event to bring and read from their favorite, relevant works, and join in a discussion about them. To promote the event Publishers for Palestine is contributing free, downloadable e-books – in more than six languages and from publishers around the world – available at publishersforpalestine.org from November 29 – December 5.
