Is a world without cops possible? What would it look like? What would it take to build such a world? How can WE make policing unnecessary? These questions and other important topics will be explored during “A World Without Cops” speaker series.
While envisioning what a world without cops would look like and how WE need to take responsibility for creating such a world, guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about their legal rights, the value of security culture, the history of modern policing, among other topics. All talks begin at 6pm at Camas Books & Infoshop on 2590 Quadra Street. Admission is free, though donations are welcome. Sponsored by the Victoria Anarchist Reading Circle (VARC).
