The first in a monthly Craft Night at Camas! If you have clothes that need mending or just want to learn how to sew or add patches to your outfits, come out to this craft night!
As always, you can totally come work on other crafting projects instead.
Sewing needles & thread provided. Camas has sweet patches for sale too.

All ages hip-hop night at the Roxy Theatre (2657 Quadra St). Fundraiser for Camas Books. Pay what you can no one turned away $5-15 sugested. This event is licened.

Sax blasting, direct acting, flute tooting, pedal pumping MC Mother Tareka is an adopted Hamilton son. 1 part activist, 1 part musician, all parts amazing.. Tarek is musically best known as the frontman for the Hamilton Hip-Hop-fusion outfit Mother Tareka & The Greezy Steez. Made for anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-transphobia, anti-sexism, anarchist, and environmentalist movements!
Camas Books & Infoshop is a community run, all volunteer bookstore with new and used books, both fiction and non-fiction, on a variety of subjects. We also carry zines, patches, stickers, and a range of t-shirts and other artisan-produced items. Feel free to come by and hang out in our seating area with your laptop, or play in the kids' space.
