We are open every day:

Workshop: Anti-Oppression, Decolonization, & Conflict Resolution Skills

Sunday, March 19th at 6pm

This community workshop on anti-oppression, decolonization, and conflict resolution is open to all and suitable for folks who are new to the language and understandings of oppression, colonization, anti-oppression, and decolonization, as well as folks who have been working within these frameworks for some time.

Striving towards being anti-oppressive and decolonizing requires ongoing learning. We understand that work is never done and encourage you all to come out!

We ask that all participants come with an open heart and mind, a willingness to examine one’s social position, a willingness to hear critical feedback, and sit with feelings of discomfort as we do this important work together.

This event is taking places on traditional, unceeded W̱SÁNEĆ and Lkwungen territory, as represented today by the Songhees and Esquimalt nations.

Registration is free or by donation at the door and helps us plan for how many people are coming, as well as a way for you to let us know your accessibility needs for the workshop.

We are excited to welcome to wonderful facilitators from the Anti-Oppression Network who have been educating on anti-oppression, decolonization, and community organizing for a long time.

This workshop is made possible with the generous support of VIPIRG.
